Small worm geared motor with two CM3G motor types

The CM3G series currently comprises two motor types.

Both have a diameter of just 33.8 mm, making them our smallest worm geared motors.
They are extremely compact and flat, yet extremely powerful
They have effective self-locking of over 10 Nm (CCW).
The hollow shaft is a simple hexagon socket.
A two-channel Hall-IC is installed directly in the motor.

This CM3G series corresponds to the usual key data of worm geared motors in most structural criteria

The crankcase is roller-burnished and corrosion-resistant.
One armature bearing is a plain bearing, the other a cup bearing.
The gearbox housing and gearwheel are made of plastic and require grease for permanent lubrication.
Both electric motors are right and left-rotating.

The CM3G motor types differ from each other

in the left or right gearbox position
in the drive shaft
in the rated voltage of 12 or 24 voltage
in the rotation speed of 125 or 240 revolutions per minute with the same rated torque of 4 Nm
in the stall torque of 12 or 14 Nm

Applications for CM3G motors

This motor series can be used in all applications that require the advantages of a worm geared motor but have limited space, i.e. the installation space is small. They would be very suitable in height-adjustable desks, for example.

Adaptation of these worm geared motors

Depending on the application, JBW modifies the output shaft with a feather key or woodruff key or an additional internal threat.
The attachment of encoders, tachos or brakes is also possible here and is carried out according to requirements.
The same applies to the installation of attachments specified by the customer, such as clutches, rubber-metal buffers or angle brackets for installation.
