Drive shafts for adapting the motor characteristics
The drive shaft is a central component that helps determine the motor characteristics. The drive shaft transmits the rotation direction and torque of the motor via the gear to the device or system that is to be set in motion. Drive shafts are available in various designs.
Smart switched-mode power supply units for BLDC and DC motors
The switched-mode power supply converts the alternating current (AC voltage) present in the mains supply into a direct current (DC voltage) suitable for BLDC/DC motors. Such small, lightweight switched-mode power supplies efficiently convert the input voltage into a stable output voltage, regulating current consumption from idle to high power and protecting against short circuits.
Encoders and hall-IC on a BLDC or DC motor
Magnetic or optical encoders detect the mechanical movements of a BLDC or DC motor. A hall sensor identifies the magnetic field strength of the permanent magnets in the electric motor. Both are used to generate digital or analog signals for automated positioning, dosing, speed control, etc. in machines, devices, and systems.

Drive components in 3D printing
To install hall-IC or other drive components on BLDC or DC motors in a functionally reliable manner, optimally adapted protective caps, for example, can help. Such components are not typically available off the shelf. This is why JBW has begun designing and manufacturing such protective caps and other useful components in-house. The prototype in simple material is created in JBW's own 3D printing system and, if necessary, further optimized until it fits perfectly, doesn't restrict any function, is easy to assemble, and is robust.
