Motor controls

for DC motor and BLDC motor

Programmable, compact and robust

In standard or customized versions, our electronic control units for DC motors and BLDC motors meet a wide range of requirements. Each controller has a compact, robust design and can be connected via standard plug contacts. Rotation direction, rotation speed, ramps, dynamic braking, current supply, etc. can be controlled via programmable digital and analog inputs and outputs.

Technical description

The M3-4Q-5-30 module is a motor control unit for use in industrial environments. It ensures the switching on and off as well as the controlled driving of motors. The direction of rotation of the motor can be specified via a digital input. An internal trimmer can be used to set the maximum speed, which can be reduced again via an analog input to control the motor speed. The dynamic brake can be deactivated via a digital input. The module has an adjustable start ramp, an adjustable fade-out time and IxR compensation to minimize load-dependent speed changes. The maximum motor current can be set via DIP switches and can be reduced again via an analog input. A digital input can be used to switch between the current cut-off and current limiting functions. The module can be switched to 100% PWM speed using a further digital input.

IMPORTANT: This control unit offers a considerably more cost-effective alternative to the following control units: 06.04.085; 06.04.035; 06.04.031
The “predecessor” controls will continue to be produced. However, the use of the successor type is recommended for new projects

The various details in the product filter for the motor controls already show the variety of functions. The main criteria that are decisive for your application can be used to quickly narrow down the selection of usable control modules. The right control unit is therefore quickly found.
